Link - Arcane Episode 1 Script

The script for Arcane Episode 1 sets the tone for the series, introducing viewers to the vibrant and complex world of Runeterra. The story takes place in the undercity of Zaun, a dystopian metropolis filled with steam-powered machinery and social unrest. We meet our protagonists, Jinx and Vi, two sisters with a troubled past, as they navigate the treacherous landscape of their city.

The characters of Jinx and Vi are expertly crafted, with distinct personalities and motivations. Jinx, the chaotic and unpredictable sister, is a standout, with her manic energy and mischievous grin. This project will be led by Dr. Tanja Roembke. The Co-Pi will be Prof. Dr. Iring Koch. The project title is “Bilingual flexibility: The impact of dispositional and situational language balance on bilinguals' word learning of a third language”. The goal of the project is to better understand the cognitive mechanisms underlying bilinguals' ability to learn flexibly via their first or their second language.
